Biography:

I have been fascinated with insects all my life, especially cicadas. I love these insects and my goal is to travel to Australia to see their diverse species. I lived in Japan for several years and enjoyed their species too, many with unique songs. And yes, in the 2004 brood-X swarm, I collected newly emerging cicadas, pale white and soft, and cooked them up. Cicadas are very clean insects, and wonderfully flavorful!
