I am a dedicated naturalist and photographer with no formal education in the sciences. Nevertheless, I consider myself a serious student and attempt in all situations to rely on careful observation, respected resources, assistance from those with more experience and knowledge than myself, and (of course) a healthy balance of enthusiasm and humility. I am quite new to my study of arthropods and I am enjoying every exciting minute of it! I consider this site to be a lovingly-crafted and invaluable resource.
