Mr. Johan Maertens, Contributor
Full name:
Mr. Johan Maertens
City, state, country:
Branchburg, NJ, USA
Biography:

Many insect pictures photographed with Nikon D40 with manual 60 mm Nikor macro lens; aperture priority, set as high as possible.
Light sensitivity automatic.
lighting natural, exception for house intruding bugs and night time where camera flash was used.
Several cropped from original, jpeg to jpeg.

Locality for all pictures - unless specified - in/at my home: half acre wildflower meadow/woodlands + man made structures = my house in suburban development.

All insects are photographed in their natural environment.
I do not capture insects for better ID or pictures.
My trade-offs are poorer quality pictures and more difficulty with identification.

My purpose is to record occurence wildlife on my property: plants and animals to share with others.
