Biography:

I'm a postdoc at the University of Arkansas studying arthropod evolution and morphology. Currently, I am researching Parasitengona, the velvet mites, water mites, chiggers, and their relatives. However, I am fascinated by natural history in general and have developed interests in other arthropods, such as spiders, parasitic Hymenoptera, lower flies, aquatic insects, and terrestrial crustaceans.

I am in need of velvet mite specimens from many regions, so if you find some and wish to help out, please let me know.
