Biography:

I am a bee and wasp enthusiast. I have freeranged Dolichovespula nests, a Vespula maculifrons nest, and Bombus nests. They were Dolichovespula maculata in 2008, and D. arenaria in 2009. In 2009 I freeranged a Bombus griseocollis nest, and in 2012 I relocated a Bombus impatiens nest. The Vespula maculifrons nest had to be removed due to them swarming as they ran out of room in the bucket they were in was too small. In 2010 and 2011 I had B. griseocollis nests but they were victims of the wax worms and did not make it.

In the summer of 2009, I started up my own part time business of removing problem hornet and yellowjacket nests from peoples homes without the use of poisons or pesticides. It was a great year and kept me busy.
If you have problems with stinging insects and are in the Southeastern Pa area I can help.
