Biography:

Although I specialize in bird photography, I like to try to shoot every living thing I encounter and then try to identify it. Now I have over 5000 species, with over 3000 being Arthropods, which I am concentrating on now. I like to photograph things just where I find them in the natural habitat, disturb them as little as possible and leave them there. I was always interested in insects since early childhood as long as I can remember. It is still rare that when I go out that I don't find new species, only one today, but about 5 yesterday. Such endless diversity!
