Hello,
My name is Christy. I manage a hotel for a living but I started getting into insect photography in 2010. I like to identify what I have photographed so that brought me to bugguide. I used to be be terrified of bugs and would scream like a little girl if one came near me. Through my photography I have become very comfortable around them and no longer squish any of them (Except for mosquitoes. Those little blood suckers are just asking for it). I am known as "The Bug Lady" amongst my family and friends and am known to freak out my employees by walking around the hotel with some random spider or bug on my hand. The little things in life amuse me lol.
