Biography:

Just a guy who likes plants and creepy-crawlies. Well, maybe there's a little more to that. We're in a long-term project maintaining a 40-acre area in the Wolfskin District of Oglethorpe County (Piedmont region of Northeast Georgia), 15 miles southeast of Athens, GA. Among other things this has involved an eradication of the the evil Microstegium vimineum, Japanese stilt-grass, among other names. We're in our sixth year of this, and whether it's a consequence of that or of just getting better at seeing, the explosion of insects has become a major passion for me.
