I'm originally from Allentown - but I've resided across much of Pennsylvania's central and southeastern tier. Although turbulent, my childhood was fraught with enthralling moments of natural fancy, which in turn lead me to an ardent fascination of the six-legged world.

Despite lacking the formal instruction of a certified entomologist, I approach the study of insects in an uncharacteristically professional manner - or so I've been told. What I relish most isn't the hours spent reading and consuming factual data, but rather the grungy, hands-on experience of field observation and collection.
