On July 12, 2008 I started using a Nikon D200 body, a small SB400 flash w/ remote cord along with with my manual 105mm micro lens, extension tubes and close up filter left over from when I shot Kodachrome 64 with a Nikon F3 body.

After many decades as a Nikon-ophile, on January 9, 2009, I traded all my Nikon gear for a Canon set up that included Canon's unique MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro Lens
