Biography:

I'm a teacher. Got interested in birds about ten years ago, then their needs, then native gardening, native/nonnative species, and conservation, and then bugs. These interests have become the center of my curriculum. The kids and I love spiders, which play a big part in our studies, as do caterpillars and butterflies and other critters the kids bring in. I rear Monarchs, Anise swallowtails, Gulf fritillaries, and various spider moms/babes. Last year got into photographing our critters through digital microscope. Would love to become better at photographing our animals.

If you want to use a photo, I'd appreciate your letting me know.
