Biography:

I've loved insects all of my life and study their taxonomy and natural history. I'm addicted to the Hymenoptera (especially the stinging wasps).

The wasp families Bradynobaenidae (Chyphotes), Scoliidae and Tiphiidae (Methocha) are currently my main focus, as well as the Mutillidae.

[Contact me if you would like to exchange specimens. I collect mostly wasps, but I can keep an eye out for anything.]

Currently in college studying Architecture. I'm self-taught in taxonomy and have an eye for detail. Architecture and Entomology (or any other facet of Biology) are by all means allied professions -- the built environment affects the natural environment, and vice versa. I believe that with the loss of biodiversity through habitat destruction, and eventually climate change, a new kind of "green" architecture must be created. Architecture that goes beyond materials and solar panels. Architecture that works with the local ecosystem. I don't have the answer, yet.

Always learning, always observing.
