Been birding forever. Didn't get a job right out of college and finally got tired of seeing the same things over and over that summer and started looking at the bugs instead of spending money on travel. Mostly into butterflies and dragonflies, although if something catches my attention, I'll look at it. Degree was in computers, but I'm already thinking about going back for something more outdoors.

Now shooting with a Canon 30D and a 100-400 lens. Definitely need to pick up a macro at some point fairly soon, but the big one works fine for odes
