Biography:

I'm a zookeeper in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and enjoy both animals and photography. It makes sense that I would be hanging out at bugguide.net! I work with amphibians and reptiles, but traditionally, the herpetology department also works with invertebrates. Some herp keepers aren't into bugs. Well, I'm not "that guy." I absolutely LOVE invertebrates and know they're the little things that make the world go round. I look forward to gaining new information that's posted by others on this site, and I also hope to contribute a little as well.

I now shoot with a Nikon D80 and a 105mm macro lens. I just purchased extension tubes to use with my macro, so hopefully my images will improve a little.

"Most children have a bug period. I never outgrew mine."

"If human beings were not so impressed by size alone, they would consider an ant more wonderful than a rhinoceros."
