Biography:

It all started with a black widow named "Annie" in N.C. ... I was at a party and I took her home. No kidding. Everyone there thought I was nuts at the time. ;-) She was a great gal... Even after her 300 babies were born and roaming through my kitchen one Friday night.

Well, now I'm a certifiable spider fan.

I'm still looking for more information on the more "common" names of spiders (vs the Latin names). More details about the photo's submitted would be helpful to a Novice like me, also.
**Many thanks to all of you out there who maintain this site.
