Biography:

I've just been a bug geek my whole life, and having moved to a much more rural area from my native Fullerton in Orange County, I've come face-to-face with so much more wildlife. I capture anything of interest and either feed it in an ample-sized jar terrarium or let it go after I've had my fun checking it out. Currently my proudest "pet" is a 2"-long Desert Recluse (Loxosoceles reclusa) that I've had living a happy, well-fed life in a jar for three months after I found it in my own bedroom! Imagine if I'd been bitten capturing it...not good.
