Biography:

I am an amateur photographer that specializes in macros of insects and spiders.

I have COPD, so my mobility is somewhat restricted. I have a portable pick up truck studio that consists of a hard cover over the bed, darkened rear windows for black backgrounds, and various holders for the stems, twigs, etc, I find my critters on.

I find this work to be very relaxing and most informative. I've spent hours with these creatures watching them go about their daily existence, and have come away with both new knowledge and wonderment at the beauty that exists in the macro world.
