Biography:
I currently work in New York City as an editor in book publishing, focusing business, investing, politics, current affairs, and other such books for a general audience
I graduated with a degree in biology from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, with a thesis on the beetle biodiversity (particularly the Alticini) of serpentine barrens in Pennsylvania and Maryland. I remain a collector, as much as I can (working in NYC doesn't always allow the opportunity!), with particular interest in Coleoptera and Lepidoptera.
Of course part of the fun of collecting for yourself is enjoying the marvelous diversity of insects, so I am trying to create a synoptic collection with representatives of as many groups as I can manage.
