Biography:

I work as a conservation biologist for the Department of National Defense, doing inventory and management of endangered species on military properties on southern Vancouver Island. In my spare time I'm a research associate at the Royal BC Museum. My main interest is Orthoptera, especially the Orthoptera of BC. This is not a very diverse group on the coast, so I spend a lot of time rambling in the interior in the summer.
