Biography:

I've been a volunteer (interpretive naturalist) with a local open space district since 1997. My natural history interests vary (hiking at night, arachnids, insects, herps, birds, inverts, slime molds, etc.). I have taken a few entomology classes and workshops in addition to completing a microscopy program, and am a certified California Naturalist. I often record nature sounds while I'm out.

I am now using a Sony a7s usually with a Sony 90mm or 50mm macro lens, or Panasonic Lumix LX-100.
My previous photos were taken with a Sony a77, a700, and Minolta Maxxum 7D, plus Panasonic LX-5.
