Biography:

I am a Master's student at the University of Guelph studying the systematics of the Micropezidae genus Taeniaptera. During my undergraduate degree, I worked on identification guides to the Fruit Flies of Ontario (Tephritidae) as well as the Soldier Flies of Ontario (Stratiomyidae). Watch for these to be published in the Canadian Journal of Arthropod Identification in the near future.
