How can you tell that it has
How can you tell that it has a parasitic fungus? Actually, it never moved once, so it might be dead.

It looks bleached, and the eyes are blank - indicators of a dead critter. The fact that it's unmoving and up on a plant stem are also good indicators that a fungus took control of it and forced it to crawl upward so that it could release its spores.
