Size: 1.5 cm approx -maybe 2 cm
In understory of grove of dying black locust trees and cottonwoods, near thickets of short cottonwoods and tamarisk in otherwise sandy and very arid terrain. Flies like wasp, moves like wasp when walking on branches, but at rest has appearance of grasshopper
