Sandalus niger or porosus? Found in cottonwood grove, mature, in very arid landscape + agriculture. Dog Day Cicadas still "singing"

Based solely on the locality, S. porosus is most likely given the current knowledge of the genus. But I would regard these images as being unidentifiable and best kept at the genus level until the group is revised.
