This is the first appearance of this species that I have observed this late summer, early fall. I believe it is member of the Scolidae family, a Blue-winged Wasp (Scolia dubia). It was located on Lamiaceae, Slender Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium). ID please?
