Larinioides Epigyne - Larinioides sclopetarius

Larinioides Epigyne - Larinioides sclopetarius
Lake Station, Lake County, Indiana, USA
September 28, 2014
This is a dual image taken with a camera mounted microscope using the 4x objective. The background was focused and photographed. The scape (foreground) was then focused and photographed. The 2/3 portion of the scape that was in focus was cropped and then super-imposed on the background image. The spider was in a Petri dish and later released back to the mirror of the car.
