Curated Physoconops gracilis 1 (from the Essig Museum, U.C. Berkeley) - Physoconops gracilis - Male
Willcox, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 18, 1958
Note the entirely yellow face, facial grooves, cheeks, and frons...all characters of P. gracilis.

Note also the silvery-white pollinose dusting on the front coxa.
