"Harpalus texanus"
"Harpalus texanus" based on my microscopic examination of this male specimen which is deposited in the P.W.Messer collection as a photo-voucher. Thanks Iustin for this challenging specimen.

My reasons for saying H. texanus and not H. pensylvanicus-texanus in this case are outlined on the Info page that I created for H. texanus.
