I'm thinking Apple Leaf Skeletonizer Moth (Choreutis pariana), Maybe.

Thanks for the ID. The size was estimated later as the moth left the flower as quickly as it landed. It certainly does appear to resemble your example photo. Thanks again.

Moths can be difficult to photograph. A lot of them are very hard to find during the day, and when found, can be flighty. As I walk down the trail in our woods, I spot moths at the edges of the trail and no sooner do I spot them than they fly off into the woods. :)
