Need ID please on Ant Mimic Spider - Micaria
Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, California, USA
September 28, 2014
Size: 1cm
I am very curious what species this is. I have tried to research it, but the other ant mimic jumping spiders I have seen have the typical big round eyes, these do not, smaller arrangement more like black widows. These move so fast like ants, use some of their legs to mimic antennae and eat desert termites and live in their holes or around them. They create web nets and hold their prey close to their underbody as they run with it. This specimen has many markings I have not been able to see online. The next day I photographed another, with all black bottom and no pattern other than the white dots. Thank you for your help with this ID.

Better picture?
Do you have a better dorsal shot showing the entire spider in it's nature position? It appears to be iridescent so that might mean a Micara.
