Small Pupa? - Meteorus

Small Pupa? - Meteorus
Mount Saint John, Greene County, Ohio, USA
May 6, 2014
I initially thought this was a lacewing egg, but was different upon closer inspection. The stalk was crinkled and the end looked more like a pupa of some kind.
I apologize for quality, was too small for my camera.
