Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute , Warren County, Virginia, USA
September 2, 2014
Size: 15mm, head to forcep-tip
Found in a pitfall trap that was open from August 19 through September 2nd, 2014.

Publish
You should publish a short note about that. We could find no published records for Merope tuber being taken in pitfalls.

See paper here.

Pitfalls
For Michael and anyone else who may be interested, just figured I would report here that these are pretty common in our pitfalls. We catch at least ten or so each season.

In September 2016 we caught 98 individuals in a single pitfall in just a two-week period. I started writing a short note about it, but it got put on the backburner and I don't really have plans to do anything with it.
