Dryinidae, perhaps from Acanalonia - Dryinus alatus

Dryinidae, perhaps from Acanalonia - Dryinus alatus
Mt. Talbot or Riverside Bluff, Woodbury County, Iowa, USA
August 20, 2014
Size: 5+ mm
Every day I checked on this one as the eyes got color and the thorax got color. Still, I just knew it wouldn't emerge and then, October 3, 2014, an adult wasp. And thanks to images and expertise on BugGuide, I think this is the ID.

This photo was taken of the live wasp in a vial
