Agreed with Naupactus leucoloma, but another should confirm.
This is a nice clear shot, do you happen to have a dorsal or frontal to add as well?

I think ~1in might be an overestimation though.

I sure do! If you look closely to the added picture, he has something green stuck in his "teeth".

Thinking back, they were large, maybe .75 in?

A fun picture, the weevil almost looks curious!

In this case the second photo would also help with ID, the shape of the mouth groove (my super scientific term).

The ideal unit of measurement for insects is millimeters, if you can't get within a range, say 10-12mm or something like that, it might be better to leave size field blank.

I'm still training myself to use metric.
