Size: 2-3mm
The M and Cu veins converge in the middle of the wing, giving the impression of an hourglass. Rs is unbranched.
Collected in carrion trap, specimen in alcohol. The only specimen out of many samples.
MND lists this as the only species in the genus, widespread throughout the Neartic.
