Under Bark Springtail in December - Vertagopus

Under Bark Springtail in December - Vertagopus
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
December 13, 2006
Size: 1.7 mm
A mid-December find under bark.

Moved
Moved from Isotomidae.

Vertagopus sp.
I changed my mind, after realising the antennae are too short for Isotoma... Vertagopus typically has much shorter antennae. The most common species is V. arboreus, but this is bluish black, not brownish.

Moved

Isotoma sp.
Possibly, Desoria sp.

Thanks
Thanks, Frans! I'll move to family Isotomidae, unless you think genus Isotoma would be a better place for it.
