Lachesilla pedicularia (Linnaeus) - Lachesilla pedicularia - Female
San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, USA
October 8, 2014
Size: 1.9 mm
This brachypterous female was caught in leaf litter. This is one of a "handful" of psocid species described by good ol' Linnaeus. It is cosmopolitan and can be a pest in stored grain. I have asked Dr. Mockford for confirmation.
