Stink Bug nymph? - Harmonia axyridis

Stink Bug nymph? - Harmonia axyridis
Onley, Accomac (Eastern Shore) County, Virginia, USA
October 8, 2014
Size: 3mm
This creature matches none of the stink bug nymph photos in the online files nor anything in my guide books. Maybe I am barking up the wrong classification. What on earth are those spikes? I am so sorry that I didn't turn this one over for a better view.
