Hello
Bob,

I have photographed one that I thought was E. Persolita, but it had a stronger horizontal PM line, not a broken or downward turning line. I must add that I have not had one ID'd.

It's a little confusing to me.
Maury Heiman's photo is quite different from Mark Dreiling's.

My image looks more like Mark Dreiling's, which doesn't mention DNA testing like many of his, and doesn't appear in Bugguide. Most of his specimens I've seen on Bugguide come from Bartlesville, about 45 miles away from me. I guess it could be a geographic difference, normal variation in individuals, or even a mistake. So, for now, I'll remain confused. (I've had lots of practice!)

.
An interesting point, Bob. Now that you point it out, Jim Vargo's pinned specimen also has the broken line of Mark Dreiling's.

I am often confused - keeps things interesting!

In case it helps...
...here are some additional individuals (probably not worth uploading to Bugguide). These are from 2012 and 2014, all on my back porch.

Thank you for your help!
