Hydriomena sp. - Hydriomena

Hydriomena sp. - Hydriomena
Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois, USA
March 27, 2007
I've scanned MPG and our files without success. Any suggestions?

Thanks
again. I'll move to genus level for now.

Hydriomena sp.
This looks closest to either Hydriomena pluviata, the Sharp Green Hydriomena moth or H. transfigurata, the Transfigured Hydriomena. Here's a comparison of the two together (Edit - here's another here at CBIF). That's a tough genus, and species ID may only really be possible via genitalia examination.

Thanks
again. I'll move to genus level for now.
