Fractal Moth - Cerastis tenebrifera

Fractal Moth - Cerastis tenebrifera
Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois, USA
March 27, 2007
This one had highly reflective patches in a fractal pattern along the wing margins. I've scanned MPG without recognizing it. Any suggestions?

Both images moved from Cerastis to new species page.

Thanks
Robin, for all you do.

Thanks
Jan. Sometimes the eyes must blink as I'm scanning. I'll move to genus until we have a species page.

Could it be
Lithophane oriunda? The MPG images seem to show the reflective markings on the wing edge.
