Identification
Legs deep black (without coating of pollen on femora as in stercoraria), male with extremely long hair on abdomen, first and fifth segments of fore tarsus each nearly as long as segments 2-4 combined.

Islands and coast of Bering Sea (Alaska and Russia)
Habitat
Larvae may be in decaying seaweed.
