Moved
Moved from Crab Spiders.

We would think Misumena
Don't see the ridge across the face through the eyes for Misumenoides and don't see any hair which we would expect for Misumenops. The males of Misumena vatia all seem to be darker, but your male seems to be younger. Maybe with the next molt he will take on full adult color and form. It will be interesting to see what Jeff says, but we would say immature male Misumena vatia.

I agree
I just haven't had time to edit and move my post. I have only ever seen Misumena vatia on my flowers...I didn't know about the ridge, etc., though, before becoming a BugGuide contributor. :-)
