Fits Gordon's (1) description of Hyperaspidius transfugatus Casey, "Pronotum entirely yellowish brown. Elytron yellow except sutural margin narrowly darkened", but Gordon's figure shows a spmn with a less pronounced sutural margin...

Also somewhat a fit for a male Hyperaspidius militaris (LeConte), but without the prominent humeral vittae in Gordon's figure (1)
