...Chrysodeixis includens - Soybean Looper, based on the dark spot on the fringe of the outer wing margin.

I believe I stand corrected and they certainly are previlent in Lousiana.

Possibly but this Looper has not been identified in Louisiana and I am not qualified to make a confirmed species identification for you. Also,the angle of the picture makes it hard to be sure of the exact shape of the stigma.
