weevil - Piazorhinus pictus
Steel Creek, Buffalo National River, nr Ponca, Newton County, Arkansas, USA
November 20, 2013
Size: 2.5 mm
I'm pretty sure this is a weevil, but maybe not...? I've tried keying it out but nothing seems to make sense. It seems like it should be pretty easy to ID if you know what it is.

Maybe Piazorhinus? See what you think. Do you have a date and size?

yes
But I'm not in the lab right and won't be for a few days to check. Had the photos on my phone. It's small, 5 mm or less if I remember correctly.
