I found a Spilosoma virginica caterpillar crossing my driveway so I brought it inside for some photos. When I was done, I put it in a small container until I could release it when I went back outside in an hour or so but it started pupating before I could release it. Approximately 18 hours after it started to pupate, fly pupae started appearing. There ended up being 9 total.
