Thyris maculata

Thyris maculata
Schertz, Bexar County, Texas, USA
October 18, 2014
There are several photos for this species already uploaded on the site. I am a relative beginner to using BugGuide. Is it appropriate for me to upload this record? My thinking is that it contributes valuable information for location and date this species was seen (a la eBird). But, perhaps this is not what BugGuide is meant to do. Please let me know how I should think about this. Thanks!
