Chief Whitecap Park, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
August 13, 2007
Every year we get swarms of these beetles down by the South Saskatchewan River. They always seem to swarm at the same location, at the same time of year in the thousands, and are always found on willow. Someone told me they were Imported Willow Leaf Beetles but when I looked at pictures online, the body of the willow leaf beetles seems shorter and rounder than the ones in my photo. I'd love to get confirmation so I'm sure that I'm not giving others false information. Thanks in advance.
