a female. A picture of the side of the thorax will get you to species.

Like this one, a lot of your pictures are underexposed. You should figure out how to adjust your camera to avoid that (or how to fix it in photo processing). Light backgrounds are causing the most trouble. Details on the critters are hidden in shadow.
